Charlotte Heart & Vascular Institute is based in Charlotte County, Florida and was founded in 1999 by Dr. Mario Lopez, Dr. Terence Connelly, Dr. Sergio Cossu, and Dr. Agustin Collado.
The cardiologists of Charlotte Heart & Vascular Institute have a combined total of over 70 years experience practicing cardiac medicine in Charlotte County. The physicians concentrate on the early detection of cardiovascular diseases so that the many conditions related to these ailments may be prevented. Our well-trained and dedicated cardiologists and staff perform management and follow-up of these conditions, once detected.
The Institute is involved in many national and international research studies. Our dedicated and professionally staffed research department is involved in cutting edge technology and pharmaceuticals.
Charlotte Heart & Vascular Institute also provides in-house lab drawing services for our patient's convenience as well as diagnostic testing in our state-of-the-art O/P catheterization lab.

Located in our main office at 3340 Tamiami Trail in Port Charlotte, our friendly and knowledgeable pharmacy staff is waiting to fill your prescriptions and answer your questions! We accept all major insurances and can transfer prescriptions from other pharmacies. Open Monday - Thursday from 8am - 5pm and on Friday from 8am - 2pm.
